Live material performance in production

Solinatra will be participating at Interplas 2026 in collaboration with KraussMaffei, bringing a live production setup to the exhibition floor.

Throughout the event, Solinatra natural engineered material will be processed continuously into finished cutlery on-site, allowing direct observation of how the material behaves during production and in final form.

What to expect:

At the stand, the setup is designed to be followed in one continuous flow.
From material entering the process to finished cutlery leaving the mould, visitors can observe how the material fills, forms, stabilises, and holds detail across repeated cycles.
Finished samples will be available to handle and take away, providing a direct understanding of surface quality, structure, and usability.

Once taken away, the material can be observed further, offering a clearer view of how it integrates safely into natural systems at end of life under the right conditions.

Solinatra’s Natural Engineered Material:

Solinatra’s natural engineered material is developed as a 100% natural material, designed to deliver consistent forming behaviour in production while being evaluated for low-emission impact.

The Interplas setup provides a practical environment to assess how these characteristics translate into real applications.
