Glossary
Definitions of key material and system terms used by Solinatra.
Trust Mark
The Solinatra system-entry mark indicating that a product is made using materials verified under the Solinatra Natural Material and No Harm principle.
Solinatra System
The full governance structure of rules, definitions, verification processes, audits, and enforcement mechanisms used to assess, approve, monitor, and revoke materials and products.
Natural Material Standard
The Solinatra-governed framework that sets material requirements, behavioural criteria, verification rules, and governance for natural engineered materials
Natural Material
A material derived from biological or mineral sources that remains compatible with natural systems and does not rely on persistent synthetic residues for performance.
A material derived from biological or mineral sources that remains compatible with natural systems and does not rely on persistent synthetic residues for performance.
Natural Engineered Material
A material that is natural in origin and composition, and engineered to achieve defined performance while meeting the Solinatra No Harm requirements.
A material that is natural in origin and composition, and engineered to achieve defined performance while meeting the Solinatra No Harm requirements.
No Harm
A governing design principle in the Solinatra system requiring that materials do not create persistent microplastics, toxic residues, or irreversible disruption to natural systems under intended and foreseeable use conditions.
A governing design principle in the Solinatra system requiring that materials do not create persistent microplastics, toxic residues, or irreversible disruption to natural systems under intended and foreseeable use conditions.
