Solinatra Finalists in Materials Innovation Award

We are delighted to share that Solinatra is a finalist for the Materials Innovation Award at the 2021 Plastic Industry Awards! Recognising excellence and achievements across the plastics industry, 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the event. The Plastics Industry Awards will be held in December, with a two-day hybrid event comprising of a virtual conference along with an awards ceremony at London’s Hilton Waldorf.

 

Solinatra is a plant based material that provides a truly sustainable alternative to fossil fuel based plastics; it’s 100% natural and has all of the benefits of plastic and none of the drawbacks. Fully biodegradable and compostable in all situations, Solinatra doesn’t leave behind any microplastics. 

Solinatra was developed in response to the issues of plastic pollution and the need for a more circular economy, years of research and development resulted in the creation of an innovative material designed to be accessible, practical and above all, truly sustainable.

The judges will be looking at the company’s ability to leverage innovative thinking into successful new products, processes or services able to meet (unmet) needs in the market, while engaging constructively with its customers and/or the community.” - Plastics Industry Awards
